Birdy is right here, of course. Inter is a much better team than current Atletico. Today’s match was more even, but Atletico got blown out of the park at Meazza.

But at the end it comes down to small differences, who took their chances and who didn’t.
There is no trophy for who won the football game stat sheet or some hypothetical half baked (as of now) simulation fantasy called xWhatever

Otherwise, we would be auto CL winners for all 4 years under Pep. We played Inter and especially Chelsea off the park in those ties.

Yea, that's not boring but I would prefer a stronger opponent for Madrid. City or Bayern.
We are definitely going to draw a hard opponent any which way, there are so many good teams left, so its hard to say who we really want other than Dortmund and not City.

Besides, this tie wasn't even close to those. Atletico had 23 shots tonight vs Inter. 9-4 on target. Dominated them clearly for the majority of the game.

In the first leg, sure, Inter was the better side clearly, but in Spain, as predicted, Atletico was the better team. 2nd leg at home proved to be an advantage.

The only team I would avoid is Bayern and City. City because they're just better and Bayern because they are somewhat better but just have the psychological edge over us at this point with all those disastrous results lately. It's like the mental hold-up RM used to have with us in 10s or what Pool have versus RM.

For fairness sake, at least mention how many of those 23 shots were on target
