Daft takes being thrown around

ZZ has done no worse with a far more limited team and would likely do the same if not better with this side
Has shown lots more flexibility than Ancelotti setting up around injuries of other players

Benzema is absolutely not naturally strong - has been a meme for balance when tackled
Where his balance shone was making the right turns and moves into space, normally on a counter + occasionally feeding a pass in behind

EZ lads
Etihad is also not a fortress some would like it to be
City went on some 60 games with 1 loss there in around 18/19 and still got pulled into a last minute fight vs Spurs

No, I saw it real time in w/o slow-motion and I thought from the very first moment that the ref messed up for calling this.

Same with Raphina dude

You have to understand: it's not about whether the defender slides or just extends a leg.
It's about who initiates the contact. The number one factor to determine whether to give any foul or not.
Slow-motion or real-time motion you can always tell who initiates it

It's not how it works. If I put a leg in front of you as you run, you initiate the contact, because you run into it. It's still a foul because I am not allowed to stretch my leg out and block you from chasing the ball. I am only allowed to do that if I play the ball.

That's how tripping works in football. It's not a hit, or a tackle. It's tripping. It even has a separate line in fouls and misconduct.

Tired of discussion this with people who don't know the rules. Check them out bellow. Look how many types of fouls exist in the game.

1. Direct free kick

A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:
  • charges
  • jumps at
  • kicks or attempts to kick
  • pushes
  • strikes or attempts to strike (including head-butt)
  • tackles or challenges
  • trips or attempts to trip
If an offence involves contact it is penalised by a direct free kick or penalty kick.
  • Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed
  • Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned
  • Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force and endangers the safety of an opponent and must be sent off
A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences:
  • a handball offence (except for the goalkeeper within their penalty area)
  • holds an opponent
  • impedes an opponent with contact
  • bites or spits at someone on the team lists or a match official
  • throws an object at the ball, opponent or match official, or makes contact with the ball with a held object

LOL Ridiculous staff I am reading here

Seriously, when you started watching football in the late 90s, you ever thought that if you merely put a leg in front of someone you should be penalized because you block his path?
Or is this a recent belief of yours?

In either case, it is totally FALSE. Players are not supposed to make way for ball carriers. told you this again.
Players shall be penalized for initiating contact with them and not with the ball, not for merely existing in their supposed paths

This is not basketball dude

That incident isnt even close to a pen. Absolute buffoonery from Serghei here.

Saka literally runs into him and Neuer holds his ground. He isnt obliged to move out the way for Saka as he was there first.

 As said, no wonder you know so much about football. You make your own rules and ignore the ones that you don't like.

Raphinha slows down, cuts the ball, then unnaturally puts his leg far wider than needed to catch leg of opponent before following path of ball. Raph was fishing for a pen. Good that not was given.

If Raphinha had performed that movement naturally he would not have needed to catch opponents leg.
