The more Spanish teams get knocked out, the more money the Spanish teams left get.

The money pool awarded to Spanish teams is the same, wether 3, 4, or 5 split it. If it's 5, obviously the individual share is smaller.

I didn’t know that prize money in the CL knockout stage is related to how many Spanish teams qualify to the knock out rounds:

I thought it was fixed:
Qualification for round of 16: 9.6m Euro
Qualification for round of 8: 10.6m Euro
Qualification for round of 4: 12.5m Euro
Runner-up: 15.5m Euro
Winner: 23.5m Euro

So, the winner would take home 9.6m + 10.6m + 12.5m + 23.5m euro.

Or something like that?

EPL teams get bigger share as more viewers etc then split by teams depending on progress.
