Inter winning that group be better for Barca so cant get them.

Not that scared of Inter but probably be one of the better 2nd placed teams in that scenario.

Knockout rounds so far away that most predictions will look silly by then.

Xavi could well indeed be cooking by then.

Early estimate is to avoid any intensity teams, so that's the English and German sides as Xavi hasn't beaten any as of yet- albeit a small(ish) sample size (BayernX2, Frankfurt and Man Utd).

Yeah, even this God awful (right now) Man Utd will probably cause alot of issues.

Arsenal cocked it against first better team who set up well at home in Lens
Putting them anywhere near favourites is ill-advised
They may turn better in spring if they don't start getting hurt along the way, but you'd have to be quite a bit insane to pit them against likes of Real and Inter and expect them to be favourites in those two-legged ties
They have their own 'demons' to get over in Europe, much as any team for whom it's first time success in CL knockouts in a while
If they get PSG, Inter or even Atleti in R16 chances would probably be even

Would say not much between City, Real, maybe even Bayern or Pool at this stage
PSG miles off it, be lucky if they dont end up choking again with an unfavourable draw, espesh when Mbappe saga regains pace in the press come Feb
See what happens in spring

Why everyone in here pretends to be an expert in all the 'intangible' stuff that can't be properly evaluated to begin with, like mental demons Arsenal have in Europe.

We have said that again. KO competitions are in nature unfair and unreflective of the best, and anything can happen there.

That doesn't change the fact that now, in December, in a discussion about the best teams in Europe, Arsenal are right there. Lowest xG conceded of all top teams. It says something
Much more stable, despite their offensive block, than the likes of RM or Bayern at the moment

In big games also your menthal strenght plays a role, for example i would say barca was nearly on same level as real in their ucl wins years (except 2017) but they were better in ko stage matches while barca was better in long term tournaments(la liga)

Thats why i wouldnt put arsenal over real 🤔
