Bayern defense is laughable.
United is second division.
Barca and La liga will come back.

RS & Sevilla are so much better positioned than some of those clubs in the EPL that have seen major outside investors in recent years, why the fuq is no investors coming in.

It's pissing me off. 😡😡

The league has poor marketing, management and officiating.

LL couldn't market itself particularly well even when they had peak Messi and Ronaldo in the league.

That's more or less it
It's mostly because there is more money in the UK and more interest from oligarchs, Arabs and other billionaires to live there and spend their wealth on football clubs.
Football fans in UK are more invested in the whole phenomenon. With lots of lower leagues that have big attendances.

Yes, exposure and marketability is there for UK clubs. But no oligarch would want to pour money into San Sebastian.

What could a billionaire do if owned Sociedad?

Barely any cunt watches Spanish football unless Barca or Real playing and even that has lost some relevance.

Then they have little wriggle room to invest in same way can in other countries due to FFP rules.

What would they get out their investment?

Very little.

Due to popularity of EPL the value of clubs have rocketed and sone have caught on to that and will make money. Others want the exposure and to be part of worlds most watched league even if dont make cash.

Spain be as well going down route of SPL and having 10-12 teams and have more money for those. Less league games wont matter all that much as Barc/Real drive the viewing and they would have same amount of games and more marketable ones.

Reduce size of league, loosen the FFP rules to attract more investment, scrap the release clauses and allow players to sign longer pro contracts earlier.

No1's watching a Sociedad vs Sevilla game.

Millions of people globally watch games like Newcastle vs West Ham.

The teams are more interesting top to bottom. The Football is more exciting to watch.

PL even with Spanish commentary does great figures in countries like Mexico. Best product wins.

Not just the football, the entire spectacle is missing in Spain to convince investors to want to get involved.

Even Spaniards barely follow their teams away. Get less than 1000 away fans at an El Clasico let alone standard LL fixtures.

So with that in mind, there's zero chance some billionaire half the world away is gonna bother it the locals can't

To be fair your average La Liga fan would have to travel a lot further than EPL fans do across a season and then culturally their weekends are much more about family time et.

In Marbella etc can see how much weekends are about them and families spending time together on beach and meals etc in way it isnt UK.

So there are logistical and cultural differences.

More Scottish football fans go to games per head than anywhere else in Europe but wont make any difference to investors.

Spain doesnt help itself and is reluctant to change. There was arab money being invested at Malaga and they wanted to invest in the Marbella area and build a marina/dock for large ships etc as part of their plan.. local councils refused and the investment in area and club were pulled.

While look at Man City... they are regenerating a whole area around their stadium and councils bending over backwards to help them do it.
