Considering the circumstances I'd go for CL if I have to choose.
Normally I'd value La Lliga higher (couldn't care less for Copa) but nowadays the liga is just a two horse race while CL is still much more competitive so for me winning CL is the better achievement.

Yes if Mourinho wins the league the Madrid press would be quite awkward, but it could happen the same way if Mourinho is victorious in the CL while we might win the fourth consecutive Lliga title.

And after all we should not care too much about what Mourinho might achieve but concentrate on our own targets.
And those are clear: To win La Lliga and the CL both yet again. (Everything else is just bonus and can be thrown under the bus)

I voted the CL ... just to drive another stake in to the hearts of the haters out there.

La Liga - you play all year long, all 38 matches and you sacrifice almost everything for La Liga title. In CL, you play 13 matches (if you reach finals) and you need a huge amount of luck to win it. It is more prestigious but i would take La Liga title anytime. Just imagine, would you like the repeat of that Espanyol game back in 07' or losing against ManU in semifinals again ?

The thought of Madrid winning La Liga is vomit-inducing on its own, but what is even worse, is the combination of Madrid and Mourinho winning it. As much as I would deplore that happening, the CL is surely the biggest prize and would further cement our position as the best team of all times.

And as much as Madrid and Mou would brag about winning La Liga, Barcelona winning yet another CL, that would bug them (Mourinho and Madrid) even more.

An added bonus, is that by winning CL 2011/12, Barca will have broken a CL record (back-to-back titles) Plus, it would silence foreign critics as well.

So yeah, if we are being honest and objective, winning the CL is the biggest thing. But of course, we should be aiming for both, and can win both as well.

Alright.

Let's say Barca win the domestic double, whilst Man United win the CL. So we avoid the horrible sight of Mourinho bragging about a 3rd CL title.

But read the potential headlines.

"Fergie undones Catalans"

"Barca's reign over Europe is over, the future belongs to Fergie's fletchlings"

"Rooney now superior to Messi"

"Cleverley is the new Xavi, not Cesc"

"Pass-masters have no answer to the English Champions' physicality"

"EPL, emphatically reestablishes its undisputed mastery over continental Europe"

*That don't look too appealing to me...

And "The Sun" : "Barca in Roo-ins"
