Chelsea's best strategy is their attacking prowless. If they take away their main threats, then Madrid will happily run all over their final third with no defensive worry.

Werner's finishing is shit, but his ability to run behind the defense and positional sense is world class. He is almost guaranteed to produce several final passes that lead to a direct shot on target every match.

Havertz has the striker's aptitude to move inside and around the box fishing and hunting for balls to finish, as seen in his Leverkusen days and recent matches for Chelsea. He is Chelsea's best bet as a goal threat with speed amongst Chelsea forwards.

The Havertz+Werner duo makes complete sense, and doesn't really mean they're going for the defense. it's probably their best attacking lineup based on form IMO
