VAR is bullshit. in American football they've had a similar system for years and the decisions are shockingly bad. the refs will still be corrupt. don't be surprised if refs give decisions Madrid's way even though the evidence is right in front of them. or refuse to use var when it is for the other team.

when I used to watch a game once in a while, the COACH was the one who could call on var to look at a situation a number of times per quarter (or per game?). THAT is the only way it should ever be. coach should have e.g. 2 shots at checking with var per half and one more if he gets right every time. certainly not the referee and ESPECIALLY not somebody sitting in a room somewhere else entirely hundreds of miles away from the stadium
