That's Pep for you , spends 100M on a player he doesn't need and ends up going into another season without a proper striker.

Nah, I think their players should just do better, regardless of striker. Chelsea didn't had a proper striker either last season. These guys even miss open nets. This is more arrogance.

They have a confidence feeling because they know they create chances way easier than other teams, so when they have to finish these chances they relax too much and treat them superficially.

Disagree man , just look at us. Put Ansu in the matches he missed this season and we would probably be sitting top 4 while also qualifying for the CL. There is a reason strikers are getting paid the most.

Yea, but it's a bad example. Ansu is not a striker. He's basically like Sterling in this match. LW cutting inside often.

You really underrate finishing as a skill.

Don't think so. Last match vs PSG City missed even from 2m with an open net, come on not much skill there to score that, just concentration mostly. They really treat chances in a superficial way because they create them too easily at times. Whereas teams who are used to having 2-3 big chances a game know they come in short supply and make the most of them.

Heavy domination induces a false sense of security that you have the match in control. You don't really, not until you put the domination on the scoring board. This is where City is failing.

This is like a 10v7 attack against defense training exercise. City are dominating and should be up by several goals. PSG’s 7 have defended quite well though given the circumstances. Nuno Mendes and Hakimi especially have been great.
