City are a much better team, but their defense is same as I remember them, solid until a blunder happens. And Madrid have Benzema there so... they are threading on thin ice.

But then City could be doing everything right and Benzema still scores a golazo.

Thank you Benzema for reminding us what a proper ballon d'or winner looks like after Messi's farcical win last year

Florentino built a team that went:

2011 - CL Semis
2012 - CL Semis
2013 - CL Semis
2014 - Champion
2015 - CL Semis
2016 - Champion
2017 - Champion
2018 - Champion
2019 - R of 16
2020 - R of 16
2021 - CL Semis
2022 - CL Semis and possibly more

So, in 12 years, they went to CL semis 10 times, and won it 4 times.

Absolute hate the jammy cunts but this is the greatest football presidency/recruiting.

Flo is best president no doubt.

If we had Benzema instead of Suarez since 2018, we still wouldn't be rebuildning.

Pique, Busquets, Alba vs. Benzema, Modric, Casemiro. The difference in mental and physical brings me to tears.

Madrid have torn down half their legendary team that won 4/5 CLs yet the few veterans that remain can still drag them deep into the CL against the best sides in the world. Meanwhile we've got the likes of Alba crying at halftime vs Frankfurt in the Europa League while Busquets chases butterflies in midfield.
