Every single game people say that keepers are 'channeling MATS' or making huge fuckups.

What if being a keeper especially at this high level is just harder than it looks. Whenever an attacker gets that close to the goal there is a high chance of scoring even if at a bad angle, they can shoot it low, high, fast, curled and you have to guess because it's instant at that distance.

MATS has a much higher screw up rate than other keepers though.

To be fair Chelsea hadn’t scored more than 2 goals in away games for about 8 years until they went to the Bernabeu this season.
