As expected it's a two man show from Madrid. Courtois saving everything and Benzema soloing it up front.

Seriously how good is Benzema. Just take a look at his touched even in defensive / pass back situations. He doesn't just pass back aimlessly. He puts the ball into space so they can rebound immediately to attack from a defensive action. His passes are almost all one touch. And he never loses the ball. What a player he is this season.

Trent has been good defensive and offensively so far. Salah has been awful.

Trent was mix of good and bad to be fair.. Salah been poor agreed and Diaz not much better. Struggling to get past Carvajal even when 1 v 1.

The position of Benzema was clearly offside in terms of the line being drawn, it's just a matter of whether the ball got to him after a deliberate play by the Liverpool player or not. Based on the replays it seemed like a ricochet.

People got way too easily overboard based on some matches vs EPL mid-level tier and Villareal and Benfica, basically EL level teams.
