Consulting the African shamans for reasons why the mighty PL lost once again.

Mane's chance is a monumental save. One of the best saves I've seen this season.
I've said second half. All of it.
Mane chance(lucky a bit there not to go in) and that save from Salah in 15min I've already mentioned.
But what exactly did Liverpool create in the second half?
Legendary sides is a Barca/Ajax speciality
Barca have done the LL + CL double all 5 times
Ajax have done the league + CL double all 4 times
But such sides need a lot of luck and factors to go right, hence the output isn't as high.
It is but the issue is you're gonna wait 10-15 years between cycles, with no CLs in between awesome teams. Madrid will rack up way more CLs just by the sheer formation of their club.
Mind you, they can also look like clowns, the way they looked under Ramon Calderon. Maybe they elect a Bartomeu somehow after Florentino, but he doesn't seem that old .
Just out of curiosity, as I see everyone found Liverpool's alibi in Courtois. What big chance/wonder save did Courtois have to do in the second half?
59 saves from Courtois this season in the CL, a new record.
Salah curver and that cross along goal that where again courtois blocked it for salah. And then the one on one with salah.
3 important moments
Salah curler was more for cameras than something that really was a threat to him. Didn't really extend all the way to parry.
Cross along goal to deny Salah at near post, maybe. Wouldn't call it that important though.
What was the one on one with Salah? Can't remember.
Funny reading comments and seeing everyones take away is that ter stegen is dreadful lol
Well maybe Marc is simply so shit that any good performance by a goalkeeper seem incredible.
Guess we are just starved of consistent good goalkeeping
