I think he will develop in a similar way to Ronaldo. He hasn't a football talent as those peak talents in football, but he is hardworking, amazing athletic build and especially the right mindset. He is still only 20, and has already been voted 4th best, in bdor, totally dominated French Leauge, won WC as a vital player, and Scored unmatched amounts of chl Goals considering his age. As long as he keeps his head in line, makes his big Madrid move, he will go down as the best player of next decade. Maybe he wont reach Ronaldos heights, luck plays a role here, but he has the potential to do it.

CR7 at 21 was a little better than Mbappe is now at 21 (he's a month shy of 21).

Predictably, the move to PSG didn't help him grow much.

Sorry man, but you guys look like a team used to play against much much inferior sides. You struggle to up your rhythm and your level once you suddenly face teams of similar level with you or even higher.

Not really. I tell you week in week out that we are shit even in Ligue 1. It is not a problem of opposition. It is a problem of PSG being shit.

They are 'shit', but the reason they are shit is that they have no competition in Ligue 1. Hard to work as hard when you have no rival. Even a single rival in Ligue 1 would make a lot of difference.

VAR isn't even the problem. It's the judgement of idiots behind it.

How was Courtois sent off in the first place? Carvajal was trailing and it wasn't a denial of an obvious opportunity.

Giving that soft push is actually a correction of a more heinous mistake that not only puts PSG at effectively 1-1, but also with an advantage.

He gave the red, because he gave a freekick. He didn't give penalty and red. He gave freekick from the edge of the box, and red card.

Also.. I don't watch PSG much. But marquinos at midfield is outrageously bad.. He is destroying everything. Évery single ball he received in the most comfortable space he passed it back to the defenders instead of moving it forward. He made Rakitic looks like Iniesta there

I don't think so. If they were just adapting to the level of L1, they wouldn't have lost 3 games already in L1. They got absolutely dominated by Bruges during 135 minutes against Bruges.

When you see PSG, you see no playstyle, no preferential moves. Even when people were laughing at Zidane, it was about his strategy to cross ad nauseam. PSG has nothing except for individual brillance.

Whatever you want to say about PSG being shit, Madrid still looked good. When was the last time we looked good, irrespective of the opposition?

In terms of individual skill and quality too, we seem to be lacking, and I feel that's because of Valverde's (lack of) preparation. We don't seem to trap balls easily, our players tend to take that extra touch, need that extra yard - madrid seem a lot sharper.

I didn't think Real Madrid was that great in the first half. They certainly had control of the ball and were very lively but they spent most of the time circling the ball outside of the penalty box hoping to find someone inside for a header as nobody seems to be able to dribble (Hazard included). They didn't have a lot of ideas.

PSG's midfielders and defenders failed a big time in terms of allowing Real Madrid to have this dominance by hastily giving the ball away and not having any sense of control and pace-setting when they have the ball. They need to get the ball and slow down a bit and not always trying to look for fast breaks.

As to that VAR call, what a joke. It should have been a yellow and a penalty, not a red that was rescinded and a foul. Marcelo fell better than the entire Chinese diving team.

Disgusting UEFAdrid.

Remember the last time at Bernabeu, you got a penalty for a player who was offside ?Heinous mistake, hahaha.

Also, i agree with you, it is no red card material but it was a penalty kick.
