It's one thing for fans to be arrogant. No one has an issue with that. Another for players and every level of their management to be.

Not to mention they like commenting disparagingly on the affairs of other clubs when they have the likes of Hoeness at the helm.

Barca and RM in their CL heyday didn't behave like this.

But a lot of what they said in the buildup to our game proved to be true. Perhaps it was institutional mind games. They talked a big game but you can't say they didn't support what they said on the pitch. They tried to intimidate us and it worked.

We've had instances where we had as much or bigger quality advantage to what they had against an opponent, but we were generally more sporting about it. You didn't see Xavi, Messi or Pep come out swinging and taking pot shots.

Maybe it's their philosophy and you're right that they backed it up in this instance, but it's still a dangerous game to play and they've been burned more often than been right. I remember the delusional comments Robben made after their 0-1 loss at Bernabeu in 2014 only to get 0-4'ed at home. Or how they thought they could mount a comeback against us in 2015 after the 0-3 like they did against Porto the round prior.

All I'm saying is I will enjoy their inevitable humbling greatly.

-Bayern talked all that shit about FC Barcelona and MAtS before the game
-Proceeded to give Barcelona a historic ass-whooping
-Had Barca's most expensive transfer ever put the nail in the coffin

I can only respect how badly they buried FC Barcelona. Will likely never see a burial of that magnitude again in our lifetime.

MAtS might as well retire lmao.

I can promise you, in our lifetime, we will never destroy them to the extent they did last Friday.

Shit was historic.

Yeah, but I'll take a last minute CL final winning goal (or any kind of CL final win tbh) against them as a good revenge.

yeah I know, we special that way. That's why a return to sender would be epic!

I wanna beat them even more than I wanted to beat Pool. We need some fire!

Marca said:
Toni Kroos has revealed that the Real Madrid squad enjoyed the way in which Bayern Munich beat Barcelona 8-2 in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The 30-year-old explained what the WhatsApp group containing Los Blancos' players was like during that match."You could not show everything that was said, but you can imagine that there was no pity," Kroos said on the 'Einfach mal Luppen' podcast."There were some malicious celebrations."

The German midfielder also recalled celebrating when Roma famously knocked out Barcelona, with Kostas Manolas' header being the goal that secured the lead for the Giallorossi."People were running around screaming up and down the rooms," Kroos stated."Everyone here lives it that way."

Indisputable meme club of the CL.
