It is easier this way. Sevilla can't really argue against the extra penalty, it was a "correct" decision, but the VAR room could very easily have looked the other way. Maybe they would if it was Dortmunds keeper?

Koeman tried to argue that way in the beginning of the season, and he was mostly correct, but just appeared as a sore loser.
