I made a very quick glance of the aerial version and I thought there were a bunch of popsicle sticks or toothpicks

I kind of like it. It's intimidating and if nothing else, very different from most new high tech arenas.
I could imagine it looking absolutely dreary and miserable on a rainy day, though.
