Coutinho might be more naturally talented, but that doesn't matter when he physically and mentally is at the age of a kid.

No shit you don't but back then it was a whole different game when he was playing in the infamous Liverpool banging goals outside of the box and considered a top 5 player worth 160M to being benched in Barcelona. Just look at Dembele's progess in Barca and what confidence can do to a player. 6 months ago he was considered a failure and now everybody's riding his dick. My point? Eriksen isn't nor never was better than Coutinho and he'll rise again.

Wanted him before we bought De Jong but now it makes little sense even if we parted ways with Rakitic this summer which we will do, hopefully.

Arthur, De Jong, Busquets, Vidal, Aleñá, Puig. Possibly Coutinho in Iniesta's role should he somehow convince in that position or if Valverde somehow miraculously uses him in that position.

Adding a 27 year old (in his prime) Eriksen to that list (basically a starter) would be overkill. Should try to go for him when his contract runs out in 2020 (if he does not move this summer) and if Busquets leaves in 2020 (doubtful) or declines. In such a case going for him would make more sense.

Not sure how much the board and Valverde (or a future manager) will rate the likes of Aleñá and Puig but I personally hope that both will turn out to have a future for us. For obvious reasons.

Pretty certain that Eriksen will follow Pochettino to Madrid. Madrid need players in their prime to replace key positions and do not have time for more experiments after this seasons fiasco. Eriksen is the most sure thing (and maybe the only top midfielder unless you count Rabiot) on the market for midfield.

Poch already rejected RM in 2018, and he has said that he expects to be at Spurs next season.
Its not as easy as "we are RM, so you are coming with us.", if he doesnt want to move right now then he wont.

Real has the money, and Tottenham loves money. The biggest problem is your sacking-policy. If you somehow legally bind yourself to 3 years with him + he gets a say in transfers, he will pressure Tottenham to leave, for sure. If you are not willing to give up some say in transfers or bind yourself to him for 3 years, you don't deserve him.

Don't worry no one else does except delusional fan boys and youtube highlight fans.

No one in the world other than our retarded board felt he was a 160m player, Liverpool are 10x better without him.
Coutinho is the most over rated player since Robinho, its fucking mind boggling.

No, Liverpool misses him a lot. Keita hasn't well adapted to the EPL and their midfield is suffering for lack creativity, and they are looking for the next Coutinho. It isn't like he wasn't one of our best players last spring either. This year obviously a totally different story. But that doesn't take away his last 3 years for top club and country.

Of course not just him, but other considered elite attacking mids the last few years like Isco and James have not had smooth fits either.

So they're missing him even though they're doing substantially better then any year with him? No sorry that doesn't fly (i know its not that simple but point stands)

He had a solid 1.5-2 years through his whole career and we were dumb enough to spend 160m on him and you're ok with that? I've said it form day one hes a 50-70m player at best.

No I never said the price was good for Barca. But I am saying Liverpool misses him, from coaches to fans. They have had a major scoring problem of late--6 matches lost or drawn in 2019 where they have 1 or 0 goals, and have blown 7 point league lead to now trail City. They have a major creativity problem in midfield and no answers without their 3 strikers hot--Coutinho was their park the bus breaker.
