The only game in recent memory I remember us being this much underdogs for was in 16/17 in the potential title decider at the Bernabeu. If we lost that or even drew, the title was lost.

RM had just mauled a strong Bayern 6-3 and were about to maul AM and Juve.

We beat them 3-2 without Neymar with one of the greatest last min clutch goals from Messi.

We were never this underdog then. The odds in booking sites are twice as much for them than us, we've never been this underdog.

I think Vidal can be a game changer today. I don't expect great passes from him but he needs to run like crazy all game long and provide the neccessary physicality that we lack. I think he had to be a sureshot starter because of that reason itself.

Honestly this is a good lineup considering everything.

We have Puig, Dembele, Fati and Griezmann all on the bench. Definitely got some legs to bring on in the second half, hope it won't be too late at that point On the other hand, Setien will be afraid to make any changes if we are drawing/winning.

After multiple games this season where we happened to play well once (like Villarreal) suddenly the team believes they turned some 180 corner and that we're great and the best and Messi blah blah blah. We are stupidly over-confident going into this given what we've seen in the media.

I think the strategy is to contain Bayern for as much as possible with Vidal and roberto who will run and dominate all game gong, till Bayern show signs of fatigue and then bring in the attacking power through puig and griezzmann maybe.

In a 2 legged match I'd agree but anything can happen in one match, heck I am sure if Bayern Chelsea was one leg things could have been different.
