There's this tendency on this forum to excuse lack of performance by any of the young favorites. It's never their fault. Demebele had his chance against Huesca to earn the start today. He did very little against the worst team in La Liga, failed to lead the less talented players. Malcom was clearly worse.

Coutinho has used his time on the field recently to regain form. Dembele will get his starting spot back if he plays well as a sub today.

Good lineup, plus some very fine subs available.

Other than a few "Good" Games not great games suddenly he deserves to play ahead of Dembele? Dembele was a bit rusty but still made a much better impact than that Clown did.
