Arsenal had the game going according to their plan (concentrated defense and counters) at least half way for the first 40 minutes (they missed their big chance).
At the end of the first half they lost concentration and did not get it back after halftime. That is clearly not enough to survive against Barça even on when the Blaugrana are not having their best day.

So excellent result without our boys having to burn too much energy.

Love the Champions League feel always a tougher match. Gunners were good for some periods and could of had a couple but MSN is too much for anyone.

Didn't play well, still won. Love it!
Props to Arsenal, they worked hard, their fans can be proud. Well, the ones who aren't deluded. Unfortunately for them they have awful players like Walcott, Oxlade and Flamini and a clueless manager who I am tired of talking about on this forum.
Hoping for a higher intensity game at home, one of those magical Camp Nou nights with a high scoreline!

Why not, the scoreline is a bit deceiving, it could have easily ended 1-1. They had some chances and played with heart and bravery unlike the usual spineless Arsenal that rolls over for teams.

Why not, the scoreline is a bit deceiving, it probably should have ended 1-1. They had some chances and played with heart and bravery unlike the usual spineless Arsenal that rolls over for teams.

because they played like chelsea, not arsenal, and still score could be 5:2 for barca.

Good win, well deserved. Could have been 6 goals with better finishing.

Arsenal even poorer than I expected them.

While we got lucky on at least three occasions (and MATS saving our asses), Arsenal was even luckier.
Two goals difference is a representative result though a 4-2 would probably have been more fitting to the chances.

Wenger said he expected us to tire after 70 mins, which I found a bit odd ?

We all know that Barca usually come on strong in the latter stages, especially once the opponents over extend and run out of steam.

Pls. Stats won't matter, nor their form in recent matches. For all their mediocrity Arsenal have never been embarassed in big matches at home. Anytime you expect them to lose, they'll somehow turn up. Even in the 2010 match when we had four times as many shots as them, they salvaged a draw. There's a reason why Wenger always preaches about mental strength.

Arsenal will do a Chelsea tonight, park the airplane in a deep 4-1-4-1 block with 10 men behind the ball and ride their luck. Watch Mertesacker dominate us since there'll be no space behind him to exploit his turtle speed. Özil and Alexis will somehow have a decent match and destroy us on the break. Giroud will give his best Drogba impression and manhandle Mascherano and Pique, like he already did against Bayern. Watch Koscielny gift us a penalty which Messi will obviously miss and at the same time extend his "never scored vs. Cech" record. He has never scored a non-penalty goal in an away match on English ground either. And speaking of Cech, it's already written in the stars that he'll save countless big chances. And if not, the ball will hit the crossbar anyways, or a last ditch effort will save it from crossing the goalline.

We're so not winning this. Hope we can at least get a draw. But don't get your hopes up. :(

Either way, Arsenal fans will be unbearable tonight.

MSN are just unstoppable. Enjoy it while it lasts because you may find it hard to replace those 3 when the time comes.
