Rewatched extended footage of last meeting for a flavor of what to expect

Hopefully it won’t be monsoon conditions again although current forecast is around 12C, up to 20km/h winds with no rain expected

It’s a cauldron in Lisbon, great support and while we can debate how much they earned at least 2 of their 4 goals we certainly had loads of chances to convert - more so when FBs were subbed for attackers

No Olmo or Iñigo while Sczezny was poor for at least one of the 4 goals. Pau played on the left and was beat more than once by Pavlidis for position on goals

Going to be a challenge

The other option is A with Olmo coming on for the last 30 and Pedri reverting to pivot for Casado or Frenkie.

Casado won't be an issue on the ball as Araujo is benched this time and Inigo is back.

There LW was pretty good. The Turkies guy.
Kounde is fatigued and been having some bad string of games. Hopefully he's upto it this time.

With Inigo fit I see him and Cuba starting.
Can't decide betweem Fdj and Casado. :(

Otamendi, Carreras, Aursnes, Kökcu and Amdouni are one yellow away from suspension.

The first four of those are expected to start, Amdouni on the bench. Carreras was great last time around and Otamendi is a leader for them. Shouldn't be too hard to provoke a yellow with Yamal and Olmo attacking them.

None of our players at risk.

Tonight we'll know if the team learned from their mistakes playing in Lissabon the last time and also from the game against Atletico. We must stop conceding early goals. We had the same problem under Xavi.
