I'd sign for a 2-2 in every away game if possible. I'm sure we'd win a lot of CLs if we managed a result like that away from home consistently.

We'd win every CL if this happened outside of a freak result as there is no bigger fortress in European football than Camp Nou. Lol.

We've literally lost 1 game there in the last 10 years to the best Bayern of all time without Messi or a coach in that leg.

Even at Turin, Bayern's managed 2-2 in recent years and RM destroyed them 3-0 2 years ago.

BBZ ran some numbers a while back for the last 20 years of CL KO games.

Real had very similar win percentage home or away.

Bayern also had a decent balance but clear home advantage.

We had an insane win percentage at home (85% - ish while Bayern was 70 something and Real 60-70 something). Decent away percentage but dramatically lower than Real's.

I wish we could compare numbers with Milan, United, Pool, Juve but all 4 of those have had notable absences from the competition over the last 20 years.

I didn't look at stats, but since the early 00's when I started to follow the CL, Bayern and Madrid have an edge in CL away. Not counting the years when they were crap. The others are about the same.

At home since Ronaldinho era we are super strong.

We have lost 2 games at home in CL knockouts in the last 15 years. Liverpool 2-1 in 2007 and Bayern in 2013. 2 in 15 years.

Indeed. Our home form is monstrous in the CL during the entire Messi era.

We had some of the most emphatic wins against Europe's biggest sides during this period.

3-0 against best Liverpool ever (should have been more)

3-0 & 4-0 against Bayern

4-1 & 3-1 against Arsenal

5-2 & 5-1 against Lyon

5-1 against Shaktar

6-1 and 2-0 against PSG

3-0 against Man U

4-0 & 3-1 against AC Milan

4-1 against AS Roma

3-0 against Chelsea

etc etc

Also, two narrow wins over Citeh when we had already beaten them away. 2-1 and 1-0 (that 1-0 should literally have been 8-0, MSN were insanely wasteful for once)

Also, 7-1 vs Leverkuzen

Now imagine our 100,000 crowd was as loud as Pool diehards at Anfield on CL nights.

Bayern 3-0 is the only game in which I remember Camp Nou being absolutely thunderous after the first Messi goal.

3-0 against lpool shouldn't have been more. Yeah we missed other chances but they missed a lot themselves.

Ernesto Setien. Let's hope Rakitic doesn't shit the bed when pressed like he did before every time he faced a pressing team almost.

Let's look at the bright side. Arthur will start the Clasico, which is arguably the more important game of the two (considering we don't fuck up here and lose here like 0-2 or smth).
