I remember that we conceded against PSG with double pivot on counters, however we haven't conceded against Valencia. And we won both times we played double pivot.

Very lucky not to concede against Valencia and had no control of midfield.

The home game against PSG was different as Lucho went 3-4-3. He wont do that here I dont think.

I actually dont think Barca were even impressive in that 3-1 home game against PSG. The midfield was weak and only the quality of front three won it.

Barta was very good in the second half of that game in right of back three though.

Any rumors about the lineup? It may sound mean, but I don't care. I pray to god Mathieu doesn't get to play.

I hope Mascherano plays in midfield rather than CB. If reports are true that Bony is likely to start then it can easily become a mismatch at the back. I would pair Pique with Bartra but we shall see.

Mascherano is by far the best passer of the ball from the back to the extent he is often used to dictate the tempo from there. He is also the best leader/organiser from the back as well.

Next to no chance for a Pique/Barta CB pairing.

Lucho doesnt even seem to like that pairing in a standard La Liga game so cant see him going for it tonight.

Yeah that does often happen when odds drift like that.

Either that or Pellegrini gone really defensive and playing Clichy, Sagna and Kolarov!

I guess that info may have leaked out somewhere? Our away form in Europe isn't great these past few years, the odds are the draw are very tempting.

Someone go and sign up on their forum then post that Messi has pulled his hamstring. See what the reaction is.

I doubt it would cheer most of them up as they are very pessimistic.

Very scared about this match. They have learnt how to play in the champions league. Aguero, silva, nasri, yaya. Can our defence stop that.

If messi has a bad game then we will lose
