Average first half, showing too much of the ball to City but glad we're winning it back quite quickly, though a tad lucky how the ball has bounced "sometimes".
Messi is absolutely incredible, and the team are toying with them, giving them a lesson.
Neymar... hmmm, had a fair few good touches and skilful play but he is starting to piss me off in a number of games how he slows it right down in the final part of the pitch looking for the "perfect goal", in that he's trying to assist or setup a 1-2... 3-4-5... the times he should have shot is approaching double figures if it hasn't already.
Whilst having kept them quiet with only a few shots on goal that haven't looked too threatening, only one was the Milner one that he could have rolled in but thankfully someone, believe it was Alves? Covered it just about before Stegen picked it up.
Mathieu... really? "Fanboys" where you at!?
If the performance wasn't painfully obvious, that stat table showed it. THE ONLY REASON MATHIEU GET'S PICKED AHEAD OF BARTRA IS??? Because he has "more experience".
That's what Lucho see's, that's what we know but Bartra needs that chance. I'm not a fanboy of Bartra but I like the guy, it's plain as day he's a natural replacement. Yeah maybe he's not as good Piqué or some other CB's in the World but he's certainly way better than Mathieu. You cannot deny the guy's passion, what has he seriously got to do to prove it to you?
So far I've counted 2 blatant mistakes that we could have been punished from that was the causality of Mathieu f'ing up. He's recovered/defended 1 attempt where it looked a threat (on my count, or that I've noticed). He is without a shadow of a doubt the eye sore in the back line, so sorry lads, but get a f'n clue!
Bartra is our #2 CB after Piqué & Masch; even contending Masch's spot.
