Hey Buddy, I hope you dont take any of my comments below personalThere is no overconfidence. You either believe we are one of the best teams in the world at the minute or you don't.
This is simply a tie we must win clearly to prove we are as good as we think we are.
There is a very thin line between confidence and arrogance.
Confidence is prudent, quiet, modest in praising ones prowess and insightly respectful of adversaries
Arrogance is immodest, pompous, stupidly high in expectations and disrespectfully loud.
There is a difference between quietly believing in your capabilities and foolishly chest beating as the best around when you have not conquered everyone.
Liverpool fans were cocksure of their team being the best around some few weeks back, and deservedly so( even more than Barca) on the account of their bilztering run in both UCL and the EPL. Right now, they are rooting for other teams in the UCL QFs and being humbled by supposedly inferior clubs even in premiership as seen last weekend.
Strong is quiet, weak is loud. History is replete of many generals who lost wars because they were arrogantly overconfident, few are those who lost because they were prudent in not underestimating their adversaries.
Walk prudently, even in might..... for the path is a slippery slope.
