I'm looking forward to the match. I'm confident we will win against Dortmund. We played them this season and won at Westfallen stadium, which is not an easy task. I think that the result against Betis was just outlier and that Hansi will adjust the tactics and that the players will be up to the challenge. We're better than them and play better football. Let's hope for a big win and no injuries.

Does Barca have any players in danger of suspension if they get a yellow?
Yes. Inigo
I pray we are a couple of goals ahead and Inigo is clever enough to get the yellow, to sit out the return leg. Dont want him missing in Semi.
He is our main man at the back.

2 things will be key to winning the match on Barca's part

1. Exploit the early opportunitue and convert your early chances(most clubs start slow against Barca this season out of fear or respect or a combination of both) . Last 2 matches have seen rising inefficiencies at conversion vs chances created.

2. Stay alert and active in defence. Kounde?? (and maybe Araujo if he needs to come in)

NB. It is given that Barca will control the mildfied and dominate a lot in that area, at home

Are you serious about this?
Cuz, it's definitely the opposite. In most matches, they start with going gungho against us. ATM, Bayern, Real.
We probably had a period where we were conceding quite a few early goals

Bro, with the exception of Real(1st half in La liga) and Bayern(1st 5 minutes) all others timidly approached Barca in the early minutes as the season wore on.

Athletico, in all their matches against Barca this season typically played the snatch and grab style except the latter part of the 2nd half of the CDR at Metropolitano where they had no choice than to come out in sesrch of a goal. Grabbing a quick goal and retreating back to your trenches is not the same as going gungho.

I want you to look at those other matches(apart from the ones I listed above)again and you will see my point. Even the super copa, barca had a flurry of chances with Yamal, Balde and Raphinha's header before RM got a goal off a counter from a corner.

There is no overconfidence. You either believe we are one of the best teams in the world at the minute or you don't.

This is simply a tie we must win clearly to prove we are as good as we think we are.

When you beat Bayern and Madrid, 4-0 and 4-1, you have to beat this Dortmund side.

Its not that I and most Barca fans don't believe it. We definetly belive we are the best.
Its just that with UCL, a single moment of fuckup just undos everything. And we are prone to it.
