Kovac is a fraud. He trained great Cro NT and was mediocre. Borussia will score if they get lucky. Barcelona is waaaaaay better and it is a H match. I expect at least 3:1 win... At least.
Wont call him a fraud. He was hated for not putting eduardo in wc 2014, but his pre Flick bayern stint was actually good in cl, they hammered i think tottenham 7:2(?) in that cl winning season for them. Just dont want players to be overconfident

He was carried by Lewandowski who was in his absolute peak.

My thinking too...3-1 at least, but hopefully 4-1 or even 5-1. But I'm feeling the 4-1, we're just the 4 goals scored team in big games this season. But the likes of Adeyemi or Guirassy might sneak one past us, beating the offside trap for once.

No Araujo, thank you. My heart just couldn't take the higher possibility of another red card with him on the pitch, even though I like him, but he's got work to do as far as the offside trap goes. No time for experiments in a game like this. Go with the best you've got and that's Cubarsi and Inigo, proven many times this season.

I for one, like the Fermin inclusion instead of Gavi. I feel like Pedri and De Jong can handle the Dortmund midfield, and we need goals (and assists) tonight, and Fermin is just more dangerous in those areas, wouldn't put it past him to pop one out from distance as well.

We need to kill the tie tonight. Let's do this!

He had some good results with Bayern but he inherited a strong team. He is overconfident and arrogant. I too hate him for Eduardo case, but as a coach he brings only some "illusion of discipline"... Nothing more. He ain't some tactical genius or somethin.

that 7-2 was top but otherwise he has underachieved with that squad, the 1-5 loss vs Frankfurt at the end was horrible

I don't wanna jinx anything but I have so much faith in Iñigo at the back. Feels safe with him.

If Dortmund parks the bus, we need to be precise with finishing. A couple of well taken shots and a goal inside 30 mins will open them up. Just don't make stupid gifts.

We have many ways in which we can win this first leg and gain a serious advantage. If things go wrong, it helps to know we can deliver away from home just as well. This can take some of the pressure off us and go for it at home.

Dortmund is usually way stronger at home in front of the 80k fans so think also they will park the bus and try not to play too open.

WIth Gittens and Adiyemi they have 2 super fast wingers and Guirassy is a good striker. Counter attacks will be dangerous.
