Apart from some shaky early minutes (which can even happen to way more experienced teams on that stage like seen yesterday with Madrid and Bayern) the team has played a great first half. The defensive setup is working extremely well. If someone gets past a player, someone else will save the day.

In offense, quick decisions and fast transitions work well. Lewa has been low key great in distributing the ball, Raphinha running like crazy and deservingely with a goal. Lamine hot and could, but involved with goal.

If we lose this game, it won't be because of xavi's tactics, it's been perfect so far, especially on the defensive side.

We just need cancelo to not fuck up.

I'd honestly rather balde right now, he would have definitely passed on that counter...

Since Cancelo is being criticized. Yes, he should have done better there but he is integral part in having Dembele under control which he has done pretty well so far. Sounds easier than done and takes a lot of running. Can't blame him when he is gassed out in that counter and making a bad decision.

As I said Cancelo is not good enough for this clash with Mbappe and Dembele and was our only dangerous player. Absolutely made my heart stop 2 times.
