Fair point but still from the matchfixers point of view better to air on side of caution and pick a smaller game. At least what would make sense to me but dont fix matches.

And I remember the romanian assistent ref negru incident. Was digusting.

Referee could influence with a decision like a red or dubious penalty, if it is financially more viable for Barca to progress than Benfica.

But not a full fledge fix.

Ah we are looking at Barca as potential suspect. Gotcha.
Still Bayern too strong not to win this imo. Risky business to get burned on this from Barca perspective.

I have faith in Xavi and our guys and I think that they will get the job done. Zidane's Real also lost a couple of games in La liga and then flourished in the champions league. League form doesn't matter in such CL classics.
As far as Bayern is concerned, they won't have a home court advantage because the stands will be empty, they will play with their B team and they have nothing to play for because they are already top of this group.
Our players will be more motivated. I have no doubt that our A team is better than their B team. They just have to show this on the court. Dembele will have to be clinical and put as much pressure on that left side of Bayern's defence. I think that he can be a game changer we desperately need.

disgusting in what way? the guy is just a dumbass who found it quicker/easier to identify demba ba as 'the black guy' from a bench full of white people.

not in any way or form punishable as racism by the french laws(incident took place on french soil).

Matches get fixed every day.

I'm not claiming this one is but both former Bayern and Barca presidents/CEOs were jailed or indicted so let's not pretend corruption is something that happens to someone else.

Not saying it would be Barcelona or even Uefa. But easiest to fix are subjective in game decisions. Or in game things like number of card, reds, etc, rather than full blown results at the highest level.

it's not even a case of match-fixing today, if it comes to barca winning. might just as well bayern don't try that hard(they don't need to anyway) and refs give barca some advantage.

No, saying disgusting was in defense of him lol. Was disgusting how he got persecuted by everyone immediately.
