Never was expected to be an easy game. Start was promising, but couldn't keep that up.

Winning away to them in that stadium is a great result and was very important given standings.

There are some obvious issues in the team currently. Can't wait for Araujo to return. His pace is needed in that high line and Cubarsi needs more fight for his position.

We were lucky, but so were they with that cheap ass pk. But we didn't play good, Raph showed up and saved us - but Lewa and Olmo were shit. Tuna on the other hand, cred where cred is due...

A team like Inter is going to be the kryptonite for Barca. Overall this wasn't a terrible game. Barca should have scored goal after goal. Get to Christmas and let us hit a mini reset with Araujo coming into the defense.

UCL campaign is definitely a priority. Isn't even arguable honestly.

We haven't won the CL in 10 years, it's beyond shameful. I can't understand all these people jerking it off La Liga when we dominated it for years while facing constant embarrassment in the CL. I would comfortably trade a CL win for the next 3 league seasons to be a total failure.

But yeah, I think a double is possible and even better long term as it would bring us back fully. CL win alone can't always be an indicator of some better times. Chelsea won it in 2021 but didn't do anything outside of it that season and hence they didn't continue it for long.
La Liga is a political statement. Who is the biggest club despite decades of not being allowed to win it. La Liga is still way more important. After we have 5 past Real we can discuss UEFA Mafia league

The competition is open and extremely accessible to win, but the problem is that we have to get past Liverpool, and to be honest, as a true fan, I still have flashbacks from 2019, when our only UCL match that made us champions was the trip to Anfield in the semi-final. The three giants Bayern/City/Real, are clearly not what they were, and I see the other potentials like Inter/Atletico as very limited, although it is difficult to play against a formation like 3-5-2/5-3-2/4-4-2. Now we just have to wait for the match with Atletico, which will be another important test.

I like how we are prioritising UCL. Which is a win in my books.

Amazing game. This is the type of football I like. End to end, enternaiment.

Fuck yeah, FlickBall rules.

We were reminded of the weaknesses in the team that continue to expose them to scoring dangers when they are not switched on

But a very difficult ground to come and win at, especially considering BVB’s style of play

There remains work to do but it was interesting to see how Frenkie was used late in the match as a sign of tactical tweaks to propel the team forward late in matches

For Lamine, sure there should be concern about ensuring he is focused but also a reminder the team is better the more he touches the ball
