CL | Round of 16 - 2nd Leg: FC Barcelona - Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 (6-5 agg.)

Lots of Barca-haters are complaining about the Suarez penaldo (which was, admittedly, very soft) and stick to the long-standing mythology of Uefalona

These cunts forget that Milito offside goal in 2010, the Bojan goal in the 2nd leg, the Messi goal at the Emirates, some ludicrous decisions that went against us against Bayern in 2013, and the stonewall penaldo we had (but were never awarded) against Atleti last year in the dying minutes. There was also a very good penaldo shout on Neymar in the first half, around the 20th minute.

Just enjoy the salt. It reminds me of the Pep days.

We will be on peak in right time, both in a CL and La liga.
But it wasn't intentional.

It just happened, just like 2014/15.
Combo of a lot of bad things and we started to climb back in one moment.

The same as how we'll lose momentum one day again (probably not this season, but in the next), not intentionally again.
That's how it works with ups and downs and cycles all the time.

But we are insanely HOT currently, and it won't go away soon.

A part of it was a bit intentional tbh
Lucho always love to experiment with his new pplayers, both to give rest and to give himself the idea and knowledge about his players more. He trades hot start for the long run and it really works for him,I said that since October. It is just his philosophy
Only exception was last year because simply we didn't sign anyone before the season and had thin squad with some injuries so wasn't able to rotate in 1st half

BTW, Barca are now top favorites to win the whole thing, just a shade ahead of Bayern Munich. I don't agree with that, unfortunately.

I don't buy it, mate.

He played Gomes all the time in November, December, January when we were a crap.

In the last Month, Gomes is not playing anymore.
He dropped Gomes, changed a formation to 343 (I love this awesome formation).
Or Vidal, he didn't use him at all and then started to experimenting when we didn't have any other ideas.

Also, Neymar is a totally different player lately than 3-4 Months ago.
Today he was the only player who was taking the ball and trying to do something in every action.
There wasn't a single stupid move, dribbling backwards, hogging a ball, doing those stupid tricks when he stops and dances on one leg (with the other leg "dribbling" in the air).

So, to some extent, maybe there was a plan to be on a peak in key Months, but there were also 100s of other things unrelated with Lucho that just clicked perfectly lately.

Just look at a body language of our team at Psg:Barca 4:0 and tonight.
That is not only about Lucho and a new formation.

Just 1000s of things happened and insane level of emotions clicked in a perfect moment (and it won't stop now, we will continue to play like possessed till the end of a season, 100% sure).

Also, announcing that you are leaving can sometimes have a huge positive shock on players.

I am no newbie. Moreover, if you genuinely think that what happened tonight was anything other than C R A Z Y you must be new to football and the Champions League. Third, do you think that we are better than Bayern Munich? There's nothing I would love more than FCB winning our sixth CL and putting some distance between Bayern and Liverpool on the all-time charts.

When we beat Chelsea in the dying seconds with the Iniesta goal, that was also crazy. And we went on to win the treble. We were favourites to win this competition the whole way through until the first leg of the PSG game. PSG were fourth favourites for this competition, and we just made their defence look non-existent when they had a four goal lead. Bayern spanking Arsenal over two legs isn't anywhere near as impressive.

I liked the way the team was set up today. We don't have a right back, so instead of bashing ourselves against a wall by trying to shoehorn different players into that position, we should adapt to a system that doesn't need a right back. Adding Messi into the midfield means we have total midfield dominance, which was always our best form of defence. The way the team pressed and supported each other today was the best and most cohesive I've seen them in quick a while.
