Former Barca player (Alves) Shoots the FK, former barca player (Bravo) fucks up the save and a current Barca player (Paulinho) scores the goal to help ensure his current Barca teammates (Messi and Masche) a spot in the WC.

Can't write a better script than that.

Haha, true true

Sad for Chile though. They were such an exciting team just few years ago and now this :(

Sad end of his last world cup campaign of him. But who knows might do a buffon for them and goes to the next world cup with them.

Age didn't treat him lately, and few GK last that much if they aren't 1.9m tall
Unless they fail to found a new good GK I doubt it will happen

Good memories :) His Barca career has been short but distinguished. Will remember him as one of the best gk's we ever had.

this guy has been absolute garbage. I am really wondering what happened to him
Loss of Confidence and Father time happened. While not all goalkeepers age the same way, Unfortunately for Bravo he went the Casillas way.

Casillas wasn't the tallest keeper (5'11) but in his prime he was a brick wall. But as he aged though he lost his athleticism and and reflexes, most of if not all the shorter keepers rely a lot on that and Bravo who isn't the tallest keeper is facing the same problems.

His days at being a starter for a top tier club like Barcelona and City are pretty much over. But he can still be useful to a team as a starter for a smaller team in a less pressured environment.

Don't know man, feel something more behind this.
People tend to forget that those guys are human after all and many things off the pitch could affect them. Remember Hleb? he was when he joined us shit after being brilliant with Arsenal and many Arsenal fans took him as an example of why players shouldn't move to Barca (wish Song has listened) but he himself admitted it was personal issues that was the reason for that.
Casillas took time for decline, he was inconsistent years before it, Bravo went from hero to zero in matter of weeks. there was rumors at the end of his last season here that his daughter was born was a serious issueand some thought it was the reason, but not sure about that since things like that usually known band talked by the media.

His form did start to dip during the second half of the season. and his new born daughter having health issues played a role as well.

Him moving to a new country to the EPL was always going to be tough especially at his age. It took awhile of De Gea to get the grips of the league and he got scorned by the British Media for it as well. But fortunately for De Gea he was young and had plenty of time to get better.

With Bravo though with his age it wasn't going to be easy. With the problems he has experienced on the field with his erratic form during the second half of the season + Off the field drama with his daughter and other stuff he wasn't going to the EPL in top form.

He got ripped apart by the media and fans due to his performances and that stuff just keeps piling away at his confidence which in turn affects his ability.

It's a straight combo of.

-Off field problems

-Aging/physical decline

-Failing to adapt to a new country and a new language and overall different league

-Media and fans just shitting on him every turn.

and you get Today's bravo.

This will forever be my favorite Performance.

Dude was on fire that day and he looked confident and composed.

Doubt Pep will care lol.

Bravo's probably mad first for Barcelona choosing ter Stegen over him and then that he was signed by Pep only to get benched for Ederson a season later.

A brutal decline.

Players in the team seem to love Peps ideas and his way of thinking.

Those not in the team quickly seem to think he is twat.

Probably see all the enthuisiasm and attention for his players as a bit fake and he can drop that persona quite quickly if not performing for him.

Strange, strange guy who is socially awkward.
