Can't believe I randomly decided to watch 90 minutes of this, don't know what I was thinking, but what a good decision  Helps that they broadcast this on TV.

Amazing mentality from Alcoyano though. Going down to 10 men and to show spirit and send men charging forward to counter and score. Not only that, they were going for the third, with 10 men, leading in ET, against REAL MADRID. Not seen that kind of character in a while  It reminded me of the Ind v Aus test match that just concluded.

For real though, all of a sudden one trophy looks achievable now. Normally we spend too much energy and focus on the Copa. This season is the first season it is actually worth doing that. Rest everyone in the league if you need to

Let's beat Cornella first. It will be the game of their life and we could very likely be struggling, blaming it on the artificial turf or not.

We are higher level than all of those imo. We are under Atletico and about on par with Madrid, maybe slightly weaker.

The last time Alcoyano (1951) played Real Madrid in LaLiga they also won 2-1.

Jose Juan was also in goal that day.
