Ecuador is losing against themselves. Countless of decent setups from them but awful finishing or mistakes by US left unexploited. Argentina will tear US a new one.

I think they will honestly. 50% of those chances Ecuador created Argentina would have converted. And they will probably create even more. US seemed very weak on the ball structurally with sloppy ball losses in dangerous terrority, desperate misplaced passes and decisions. Also, US seemed to have gotten tired pretty quickly which is weird for a team playing that defensively in the second half. Okay, teams were both one man down but still...

But yeah, US has hometurf advantage and might be in better shape than today. Football is rarily easy but I'll eat my hat if Argentina doesn't make it to the finals.


But maaan....Copa is so much more exciting than the Euro Cup.

USA plays like a mid table EPL side so Argentina may struggle a bit. I see a narrow win for Argentina if Messi doesn't go super Messi mode.
