Shambles first five/ten minutes.. better team for next 30 odd then lost it a bit before half time.

FDJ, Pedri, Gundo and Lamine all guilty of giving away badly in defensive third towards end of half there.

If can break there press the counter is on every time.

Interesting tactical battle.. EV is flooding area of FDJ and Gundo with forwards and wanting ball played to full backs out.. Xavi in return took Pedri bit deeper to have more options to play out and took Ferran in close to Lewa.

Should do better on the counter. Not a bad half but need to do better and score the 3rd. At times passing had some bite to it, but later in the half got sloppy again. The kid that replaced Balde is doing very nicely so far.

Its not easy due to way they are flodding the middle and trying to stop playing out through Gundo. Pedri and FDJ.

Those three will have to take some risks to spring those counters as Araujo, Kounde and Balde before them looked fucking awful when left to make those passes.

Xavi countered it a bit by allowing Pedri more freedom to get deeper and putting Ferran closer to Lewa which worked well for most part until end of half.

Yeah, not easy, but all three of our midfielders are considered top passers... so... they are expected to provide the goods. Movement is pretty good also imo.

Ferran helps also, by dropping deep. He's in good form these days.
