Coutinho and Mina IN!
and too
Don't want to differ with Barc's current tactical approach just for the sake of it, I think that Valverde's 4-4-2 is amazingly efficient and makes Barca less predictable. However, the team's possession game has shown some signs of weaknesses that could have heavy consequences in big fixture at an European level. Plus 4-3-3 system could be more comfortable for Demebele to evolve in.
Imagine a totally unorthodox boxer switching stances with intense head and upper body movement, amazing footwork (Barca) against a very stiff and solid but robotic boxer (Chelsea).
The upcoming three weeks are important to prepare for Chelsea, and I don't think it would necessarily be a walk in the park, Barca needs to have th eability to answer with fireworks and look for the knockout if they get knocked down...
It would be nice if we try to play more offensively with our former 4-3-3 formation just to have a plan B in case of emergency and be even less predictable. 4-4-2 is an amazing trap against teams who are tailored to make Barca's game difficult.
But still, Coutinho playing from the beginning in this important game, Dembele being injured, I would go with this 4-4-2 :
[formation=barca,6]
Cillessen
0-Pique-0-0-0-Umtiti-0
Roberto-0-0-0-0-0-Alba
0-0-0-Busquets-0-0-0
Rakitic-0-0-Paulinho-0-0-0
0-0-0-0-0-Iniesta-0
0-Messi-0-0-0-0-0
0-0-0-0-Suarez-0-0
[/formation]
Im reading your boxing metaphor as if us vs chelsea is Roy Jones vs Hopkins/James Toney but feel you mean it more like Naseem Hamed vs Barrera. I prefer the former if we go by outcome
Just need back soon so we can throw out.

I think we should go back to 4-3-3 once we get the players of injuries.
Dembele is used to playing in 4-3-3. Suarez is used to playing in 4-3-3. Messi is used to play in 4-3-3
Suarez have struggled alot under 4-4-2 since he has to much more alone in attack and arent given as much space.
Dembele, the little he has played, has felt a little bit lost in the system.
If we can get the players, i would want:
Dembele - Suarez - Messi
......Coutinho - Arthur
..........Busquetes
That would have potential to be more than great team.
