Some takeaways from this game:

FdJ has improved a lot under Flick. Never liked him, but this was a solid performance unlike anything before.
Gavi is playing much more maturely.
I've never liked Kounde but he and Yamal have worked out their overlap very well and have a good partnership.
Araujo's speed is going to be important with Flick's high line against pacy opponents.
Excellent save by Pena.
Betis players were shit at putting their bodies in the way of shots.

Yes, but on average we're not great at winning against teams like Getafe. It's not just us, it's everyone. The biggest loss Getafe suffered this year happened against Madrid, 2-0, one goal being a pen. So while we should expect to win there, one must admit Getafe is a great defensive team. Winning against teams like that is rarely easy.
