So? As if it mattered.

If it wasn't for Messi at the moment Barca would be struggling to win any game.

He deserves it and shouldn't be denied again because of shit team mates (Argentina 2014 and 2016, Barca this year) and managers (Tata 2014 and 2016, Lucho this year).

Gomes made a terrible defensive mistake but Alba bailed him out and Gomes then did well passing to Messi who did his usual magic - so we lead 1:0

if we played any other top team as we did atleti in the first half, we'd be at least 2 goals down. big props to messi, cilesson, umtiti, pique and alba for keeping us in the match

More than shit team mates, a shit coach.

Messi always receives the ball in tight spaces. He has to dribble his way out of pressure from almost every pass that he receives. On most occasions, he will win the ball back if one of the three defenders managers to get a slight touch on the ball. He is excellent at immediately pressing once he loses slight control of the ball. He no longer presses once the ball is lost. Today however, he can no longer go in for the first tackle. You can see how he is playing. He does not want to commit even one foul. Give the man a break.

This is how a team wins titles. Not by outplaying opponents but just to wait patiently and grab the chance when it's there with both hands. Smart play by Lucho. I don't care if we don't dominate the opponent. If this approach brings us success (and titles), I'm more than happy with it.

Lucho neds to GTFO in the end of the season. But honestly if we do not improve ASAP someone will destroy us in CL and it will be ugly something like Bayern did 5 years ago. We were dreadful in last few games, we just have huge amount of luck and Messi.
