Rakitic, in my opinion, should only be used to cover up Xavi or Iniesta and give more verticality to our game. I have difficulties in trying to figure out how he would do against teams that are very strong technically and tactically such as Bayern. Defensively , he is very solid but his technique is still an issue in my opinion.

Seriously. Haven't you seen any of our recent games? Rakitic's overflowing with confidence finally and that has elevated his game to a whole different level plus he offers us an extra attacker plus an extra defender in one.

Thing is we're going in with a lead in this game. There is no pressure on us to go score, and we could just control the game and wait for their mistake if we wanted to.

It's a risk but I don't think it would be radical.

We should have just won 4-1 in the first leg and then this wouldn't have been an issue.
