I agree with rakitic, but alves is very poor in defense. Malaga match is pretty illustrating. Good crosses though.

You have your opinion, I have mine, but please do not complain at a certain moment of the season if we don't get good results against European top teams. I 'll be the first to recognize that it was a mistake to let Xavi start. But from what he mostly showed this season his performances were at least honorable, and by 100 miles better than Iniesta's.

Rakitic is excellent without the ball. But Rakitic is "just" a good player with the ball.

To me Rakitic will remain the perfect replacement for Fabregas, nothing more, nothing less. Fabregas was better technically, but tactically Rakitic is better by margins and that was the 12th player we badly needed.

If Iniesta doesn't show signs of improvements, we will lack organization and balance.

I 'll repeat it, the best midfield at the moment, to me is Rakitic--Busquets--Xavi . Rakitic is a temporary solution at the moment. With him and Iniesta clearly in decline ( not in terms of stamina but in terms of skills) we will start to creat a strong dependance towards Messi and that coud be fatal!

Where is the attacking midfielder in that midfield? All of those have been playing fairly deep Xavi and Busi especially.. Rakitic is box to box but we haven't really seen him as a CAM yet so i'm not sure why you think that midfield is the "best midfield".

Maybe, but Lucho needs to trust his players to behave.

Otherwise he would be taking Suarez off every time he got a booking.

Lucho needs to get this game won and that should be his first thought ahead of saving Suarez for a final he might not even get to.
