Have to say, this 'rivalry' ended just as brutally as it was in 2012

No one sane except for some diehard United/RM fans and Portuguese citizens thought CR7 was in Messi's league by 2012

And then they were considered on relatively "equal" footing between 2013 and 2020

Prime Lewa is nowhere near prime CR7

He loses out on all the categories.

Neither of them is a great/very efficient finisher (like a Messi) but CR7 finished many chances in CL KOs when it mattered unlike Lewa for Bayern and Barca

Heading is not even a contest. CR7 is the best in history at this one

Dribbling, both are awful but United version of CR7 was decent

Penalties, CR7 easily when it comes to big time pens. Lewa had shaky feet in a Europa league PK and missed at WC
