Like said, wrong shirt. Media will praise him for this and condemn so much taxes on the rich.

This is exactly what's going to happen. To add insult to injury, the media will then remind everyone of the charity work he does, implying that he knows better what to do with the money than the state does.

Football leaks say cr+pepe+coentrao evaded 38m from taxes. Modric also could be implicated.

And a spanish judge is trying to stop european press from publishing anything from football leaks.

time for Catalan press to counter attack .. harass their asses

They're trying, but they don't have the same reach or influence as the madrid media. And ofc, the madrid media is being as quiet as they can. If this was about fcb players, they'd be on fire.

From what I understood, Messi was guilty of tax evasion and Ronaldo of tax avoidance which isn't necessarily illegal.
At least, that is how it looked a week ago, I don't know what developments have happened in the mean time.

The matter is that they brought Messi to court, for no reason...
Mourinho and others, for the same reason, they only have paid some money and that was it...

I read an interesting piece about it the other day. Being tax evasion or avoidance is down to the fiscals interpretation in spain, discrecionary power. Why they decided to prosecute Messi, but are avoiding to do the same to cr. But maybe it will happen. A specialist said the predictable thing to happen is for cr to end up being prosecuted.

I don`t know shit about law and all that stuff surrounding tax avoidance/evasion. Never interested me. But something that I really can`t understand is that they drag Messi and Neymar through the mud because of similar things and now when Madrid players are accused of the same thing from a neutral group like football leaks, a judge is ordering the newspapers that they can`t publish that, limiting the freedom of speech etc. Not only in Spain, he wants it in all of Europe.

Is it really possible that that piece of shit Florentino Perez and his gang are so powerful in Spain? I know he has influence, but this is a whole another level.
