Complete pussy and the award thing is a bogus reason to not attend. He attended multiple Ballon D'Ors where he didn't win. He didn't want to look his teammates and former boss in the face. Simple.

These awards doesnt mean that much, tbh, why get mad over it?
Wouldnt be undeserved if he won it, he did a lot for us in the CL last season(any season, really), but Modrics performance, especially in the final pulled it in his favor i think, would have lost without him, probably.

Ronaldo will always be loved here though, but because of performances alone, i think, difficult to like as a person, but thats just how he likes to roll, i guess.

There is perfect reason to get mad, because with Messi Barca had to deal with half of the amount of juvenile shit. Doesn't infringe upon his sporting achievements, but something that just annoys people with common sense. There shouldn't even be the debate about the reward. It's a bogus thing. The story should be him being a complete pussy and being unable to look his teammates in the eye. But him and his clique of followers have always been masters of convenient excuses.

Another point being that tonight proved something else - he was never Perez's boy. Not even his Galactico. In any way.
