Genuinely think Penaldo himself wrote that rant on his sisters Instagram. Just read it again and noticed she says "Cristiano Ronaldo" about 10 times, why would you call you brother by his full name every time if you were writing a piece about him? lol
Also noticed these quotes....
"although I won important collective titles"
"Cristiano Ronaldo was even the best player and best scorer in the country where you play Virgil. By the way I was even much younger than you"

People can call it winning mentality all they like, the guy and his family are obsessive egomaniacs. He's a top 10 greatest player, undeniable, if he can't live with that he needs a reality check.
Not for me he aint. I was pretty much roundly condemned during the summer for sayong he isnt in my top 10 and is not the 2nd best player in the world any more. That's pretty much the widely held view of the majority now. Like it or not his legacy has been affected by his Juve sorte. He should have moved to MLS where his low conversion rate would have not been so thoroughly exposed.
Fair enough, I disagree but it is a subjective matter. I think he's not top 10 best players in the world currently but at 34 I don't think anyone can be expected to be. I wouldn't say his legacy is tarnished because of juve either, he'll add a few league titles to his small collection of league titles (lol), he probably won't bow out of european football on a personal high because he's always been willing to allow his teammates to win trophies for him.
Ok I was referring to all time. He is 15th on my list. Reason being his relatively low conversion rate. His move to Juve hurts him because now that his chances per game have been cut by about 60% a lot more people are waking up to the fact he isn't the 'best finisher ever.' Ask yourself if Lewi had left Borussia and gone to Real and had Ronaldos 10 chances per game how would we be looking at Lewi right now? Would he have a similar goal per game record and Champions Leagues - I'd suggest so.
