opposition fans are jealous of messi and barcelona, both gold standards (though with the great lucho at the helm, we are fast turning copper lmao). whenever we lose big or messi has a stinker, everyone loses their minds. ronaldo has been involved in two 0-4 losses last 2 years versus us and atletico yet all that is easily forgotten.

Barca's early CL exit has pretty much guaranteed Ronaldo his 5th Ballon D'or in February. Messi won't win it now and Real could easily win La Liga and CL and Portugal Confederations. He only needs to win one of them with Messi restricted to the relatively worthless Copa Del Ray.
