Presuming he DIDN'T call offside for Morata (if we're being kind), what else could he be fucking saying?

It wasn't offside? Why put the hand up like that? It was incredibly strange.

He punches the air and kicks the ground after the goal has been signalled, in case you were still unsure...

He was stood there waiting for his tap in and was pissed off Morata got there first because he wanted the goal.

After watching multiple times...

He absolutely does gesture about offside. It looks instinctive, so not necessarily saying "That was offside!" but "WAS that offside?"
In either case it's still gesturing because he instinctively doesn't want the goal to stand, as it wasn't his. And when he realizes its onside, or when he realizes its standing, he slaps his hand down on his thigh in frustration.

In his defense, when he finally goes over to celebrate, his smile is an embarrassed one. Almost like he realized what he just did and is embarrassed- he's trying to smile to look normal about the winning goal, but you can see an awkwardness to it- like I said, I think he was embarrassed after. But he definately gestured and got pissed at the goal, if only momentarily / instinctively.

No he didn't

Without Ronaldo they lose to Wolfsburg

Don't be so sure about that. Real was much superior to Wolfsburg with or without Ronaldo. Didn't Lewandowski score 5 goals in 10 mins. against them that season? That should make it clear just how shit Wolfsburg can be in an away game.

Btw, they finished 8th in BuLi that season, and are now sitting 16/20 after 8 games. They are a mediocre team, perhps a bit worse than that.

His comp highlights reel against Bilbao has got to be one of the most embarrassing ever. And it was made by a fan. Almost feel bad for the dude.

Zidane might bench him soon if he continues on this form :hang:

Notice at around 2:35 [edited] how the ref calls a foul and immediately sprints towards a defender to warn him after that from-behind tackle after CR released the ball that stayed in Madrid's possession (didn't play advantage). This particular defender tactic of intimidating forward (getting in his head) by fouling him after he releases the ball as the ref almost always just plays advantage and doesn't caution defender is very common in Spain. You can see multiple such situations in EVERY Barca game on Neymar particularily, and I don't remember a single time the ref warned the player after the FIRST foul made on Neymar, and opponents tend to systematically bring him down.

Yes, if you look at this clip, this is the first time Ronaldo was fouled (28th minute) and the ref immediately made it clear that he won't tolerate it. You will never see Neymar (who gets butchered week in week out), Suarez and even Messi get this protection treatment in Spain.

For real! (no pun)
Some of the tackles our players get have nasty intention written all over them. It's almost as if the refs got the word to turn a blind eye. It's even worse in the Copa America :rambo:

i don't disagree with your points but his hatrick was needed to take them through. They were 2-0 down after the first leg and looked in trouble.

Cristiano's dive vs. Athletic Bilbao

[gfy]FrequentHonorableKitfox[/gfy]

Cristiano ignores Morata (who could've scored a goal in open net) and went for a shot that Bilbao keeper saves.

His latest dive is very underrated. It lacked coverage because of the sheer genius of calling for Morata's offside, but make no mistake : you won't find a better dive anywhere.
