QF exit to Ajax (maybe excusable but Mr. CL should have seen Juventus through on experience. He is Mr. CL after all according to his fans)

The only good/great thing he's done for Juve in CL has been that performance v AM, which he gets praised for. But that's 1 good/great success, 2 epic failure, and 1 maybe fail.

Maybe you should stop worshipping him as Mr. CL then. And claiming that RM can never win a CL without him.

Either he is the reason RM and teams win CL as you say, in which case, he failed.

Or he can't take his teams to win CL on his own, as you want to excuse, in which case, he's not Mr. CL.

He was good against Ajax, did what he was supposed to, the team performance was lacking, that CL-campaign simply cant be blamed on him.
He wasn't great againt Lyon, but not terrible, he shares some responsibility, much like the rest of the team.

Porto though? Yeah, he was awful, no excuses.

Im not sure it was much about either tbh, Perez apparently promised him a better contract, then it didnt happen, Cristiano then fell out with Perez and left.

People who want to assess CR7's impact in CL will take everything into consideration (that's how legacy assessments are made. We nitpick for the GOAT tier). It's not a big difference right not but if RM make the final or worse, win it, it will become a huge factor unless CR7 can do the same at Juventus.
