Cr7 was a terrible deal for Juve. They hoped to get a marketing boost with all the fanboys following Ronaldo. However they should have realised they were winning Ronaldo fans and not Juve fans. Now that Juve is losing the Ronaldo fans are dropping Juve like a hot potato. They come out in doves shitting on Juve in an attempt to take away blame from Ronaldo. It's not just a financial nightmare but also a PR nightmare. They gained a bunch of new 'fans' that only care about Ronaldo. It's caused a total divide between actual Juve fans and Ronaldo fanboys, with the latter shitting on Juve so hard right now that the club is actually having bad PR by having Ronaldo there.
