only for a few. If he does that then he deserves all the plaudits. Assuming it's not a hattrick of penalties. But winning an international trophy after finishing 3rd in a group, facing no one good until the final, winning 0 games in full time except vs Wales and not actually playing 95% of that final doesn't deserve the credit some people give it.

Argentina faced Chile in 2 Copa America finals and lost both. It's not like they faced Brazil, France, or Germany either.

Funny thing is, if you look at my post history pre-BarcaOG and Fati's trolling/fawning over CR7, I have him as one of the top 5 players in the history of the game. I personally prefer Messi's game and think his peak is clearly superior but can respect CR7's attributes in other aspects like variety of scoring ability, relentlessness, and hunger.

But it's when people start polluting this thread and trolling Barca/Messi fans on a Barcelona forum, that gets tiresome.

People need to be aware that just because this is Barcaforum it doesn't mean people have to cheer for Argentina, or against Portugal and Ronaldo. One has nothing to do with the other. Being Barca fans we have to support Barca, that's it. The rest is open for discussion.

For example, I never liked France. I'd support anyone against them in NT football.
